finally caught marley and me on Saturday. it made me cry! quite endearing cos this owner's pet had to be put to sleep after so much joy happiness and annoyance it shared with the owner as it had some tummy problem and is already quite old. reminded me of my 2 princesses. kindof envy the couple in the movie. someday, i want that kind of life too. marital bliss, kids and a pet. so very complete.
my precious sunday was totally wasted on fieldwork at pasir ris park. got roasted literally from 9am till 5 pm. now im such a blackie. felt so stressed dat i went watsons and load up on whitening products. i HATE being dark. when we first came, Dr lim already annoyed us by scolding us like 5 yrs olds just cause we didnt know some stuff abt the rock bunds. cannot be blamed right if ur method of instruction quite bad. tsktsk. lucky prof diong and goh were nice-r. we had to do insane stuff like counting grasses, limpets and barnacles. i tink the public think we r from some retarded school or something, with our red market bags filled with transect tapes that weigh a million kgs and quadrates. lunch was macs that our mac pro pearly kindly ordered and which we then had to deliver using james' car at different carpark as all of us were scattered about. lucky got james if nt pearly and me would have developed muscles and eventually die carrying $200 worth of macs meals. tink this is the worse excursion ever. pft.
today was a mixture of good and bad. let's start with bad, cos i had a fall. fell flat on my back. now my head, hands and butt hurt quite bad. lucky there was this nice guy who helped me. he even returned to checked on me and asked me a couple of questions to see that i'm really ok. thanks stranger! tink i should chuck those evil flip flops that provided no friction during rainy days. ok now the good. my tutee scored well for her science term test. 39/40. felt a sense of accomplishment really. it was so sweet of her to get me chocs. kids are that cute and sweet. now i should get back to my trillion assignments while leaving you people to see them pictures:
